Short Description:
This altar holds the threshold between memory and prophecy. Its title echoes the declaration associated with Isis (Goddess of Egypt): the one who knows what has been, what is, and what will be. The figure stands inside a constructed shrine of mosaic, gold, flowers, braided hair, and sacred color. She is not presented as a relic of the past, but as a living intelligence. The altar becomes a place where African diasporic spiritual knowledge, feminine power, and ancestral memory are not explained away, but honored as systems of knowing. Here, history is not only written. It is carried, felt, and revealed.
