ILE- ÌFÉ (House of Love) , 2018-2019

ILE-IFE was a transnational performance project rooted in West African spiritual traditions and expressed through Afro-Cuban rhythm, contemporary sound, costume, and movement. Developed with a Puerto Rico–based ensemble grounded in Ifá cosmology, the work translated ancestral stories into modern performance. Electronically manipulated batá rhythms carried narratives of love, transformation, and community, while choreography and ceremonial costuming embodied the Orishas across tours in North and South America.
