Sacred Puta Project, 2020
Sacred Puta is a multidisciplinary art project that I conceived and produced to challenge polarized cultural narratives around femininity, virtue, and desire. The project began as an exploration of what it might look like to hold sexual liberation and spiritual integrity within the same body—rejecting the notion that desirability and trust, or sensuality and holiness, must exist in opposition. Over time, the work expanded into a broader examination of gender, embodiment, and self-authorship in collaboration with LGBTQ+ communities. The project included a gallery exhibition in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a published art book, a series of live events in Brooklyn, and the production of a short film. All visual content—models, styling, hair and makeup, and production—was created in collaboration with members of the communities represented, centering art made with and for the people it reflects. Sacred Puta demonstrates my ability to develop a complex conceptual framework and bring it to life through collaborative, community-rooted, and fully realized artistic production.
Sacred Puta: Live Performance - BK, NY
Sacred Puta live performances were presented in Brooklyn, NY and Puerto Rico as immersive, community-centered events combining music, dance, ritual, and installation. Working with over 20 collaborators—including musicians, dancers, singers, decorators, videographers, and photographers—Cäbble created environments designed for audience participation rather than passive viewing. Across two floors, attendees encountered multiple interactive stations and large-scale altars where they could light candles, pray, reflect, and engage physically with the space. Approximately 150–200 people attended the live performances, which functioned as collective rituals celebrating embodiment, spiritual agency, and shared presence.
